Good morning. I hope you're all set to ring in the New Year in style! If you have a little over three minutes left to spare this year, I hope you'll check out this New Year's Message from me and the Monsters.
Thank you for all your excellent creative energy and support this year.
You better believe that 344 LOVES YOU
Good morning. The fine folks at Epic Fu just posted a great web show on making a great web show. They're giving a few basic truths on concept and production, and a nice list of resources to make it happen. There's a great little interview with Tim Gibbons, Executive Producer of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, and then there are a few seconds of Monsters, which was a lovely surprise! You can check it out on their site or right here:
The creatures also got a mention on Marc Ecko's blog, which I'm happy about. A. the man is responsible for one of my favorite pairs of shoes, and B. his blog has nice type! It's the little things.
More Monsters are coming soon! Until then, I hope you'll enjoy the time between years, and know that 344 LOVES YOU!
Good morning. I just wanted to send you a quick note wishing you a very Happy Holiday—be it a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, a dignified Yuletide, or a rip-roaring Agnostica. I hope the week will bring you a chance to breathe, be in the company of friends, and have a few moments of joy unleavened by worry or stress.
Thank you so much for all the kindness and creative energy you've shown me and the Monsters this year. I hope that I'll be able to pay you back with lots of fun new creatures in 2009.
Good afternoon. Let me use the momentary return of my DSL connection to tell you that you can now send any and all of the Monster videos as free holiday e-cards on YouTube.
Here are the links for the two Christmas Monsters:
If you think any of your friends would enjoy getting a monsterized greeting from you for this special time of year, send them some creature love. In the meantime, warm yourself on the fact that 344 LOVES YOU
Good morning. How are you? With the holidays just around the corner I'm very happy to introduce you to a very special Yuletide Monster. I hope you'll have fun meeting this one, and I hope that you'll have an excellent season, and a wonderful New Year. You do know, don't you, that 344 LOVES YOU
And let's not forget: A big, jolly shout-out to Peter Batchelder for arranging and performing a killer solo exclusively for this monster, and to Daniel Holter at the Burst Collective for making that happen! Thank you so much!
Good morning. Mrs. Joyner and her 6th graders at Davis Middle School in Gainesville, GA made some excellent, excellent Monsters that I think you must see! (Special shout-out to Kevin!) Aren't they cool? Is it any wonder that 344 LOVES YOU
